Refunds and Cancellation Policy
All cancellations will only be accepted in writing by emailing aag@theconferencemanager.com.au
Cancellations received in writing on or before 30 September 2024 will be subjected to a refund less 25% admin fee. After this date, we regret that no refunds will be made, however substitute delegates will be accepted. Please note that cancellation fees will apply whether or not payment is received at the time of registration. By submitting the registration, you are agreeing to these conditions.
Disclaimer
The Conference Manager and AAG will not accept liability for the damages of any nature sustained by participants or their accompanying persons for loss or damage to their personal property as a result of the conference, exhibition or related events. The conference organisers reserve the right to change activities, topics and presenters where necessary. The organisers shall not be liable for any loss caused by the cancellation of the conference where such cancellation is due to Force Majeure. The term "Force Majeure" means any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the organisers including but not limited to war, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), pandemic, terrorism, aircraft hijacking, military operation, riot, civil war, rebellion, civil commotion or unrest, natural disasters, acts or regulations of government, refusal to grant visas, explosions, transport delays, transport difficulties and the insolvency of airline carriers. The organisers will use all reasonable efforts to conduct the conference despite the intervention or occurrence of any such cause.
Insurance
Delegates are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Delegate registration fees do not provide any such insurance coverage. The Conference Manager, AAG and Organising Committee accept no responsibility for any loss in this regard.
Privacy Statement
Information gathered from registration and other forms will be used to administer the conference including accommodation, catering, exhibition and sponsorship. Data obtained will remain the property of The Conference Manager, AAG and Organising Committee.
Intention to photograph and record
Attendees are advised that photographs and recordings of presentations may be taken during the conference and reproduced for promotional purposes.
Behavioural Code of Conduct at Conference and Events
The AAG Conferences (and Events, including online) is dedicated in providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, ethnicity, culture, race, age or religion. AAG does not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Unless relevant to the particular talk, sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue. This type of behaviour is unacceptable and will not be taken lightly in our organisation.
Conference participants (this includes employees, volunteers, visitors, guests, sponsors etc) or anyone interacting with the event violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the AAG and/or conference organisers.
